ANDRÉ WILLIAMS 

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

André Williams, an artist based in Indianapolis, IN, started as a young percussionist in Elementary, and became fascinated with the world of performance. He attended Warren Central High School where became heavily involved in the Warren Central Performing Arts Department (WPAC), where  he saw his future as an artist.  He served as the Drum Major for the Warren Central Gold Brigade Marching Band, percussionist for the Honors Band, Jazz Band, & Winter Percussion Ensemble; Devoting his extra time to develop his skills as a color guard performer and dancer, and attaining several awards for his commitment to excellence in performance during his High School Career and became the first male member of the Warren Central World Guard prior to graduating in 2011.

 

André attended DePauw University. Initially, with plans to major in music education, he realized his true passion was in dance and education, he shifted his focus to theatre and communications, heavily focusing his studies and work in understanding concert dance and tanztheater. Over the course of his four years at DePauw, André performed and was a part of the production team for several DePauw Theatre Productions and became a student leader of the costume shop. Involved with multiple prominent dance groups on campus, he became the founder and artistic director for the first Student-Led Dance Company on campus; conceptualizing, designing, and choreographing three main stage, full length dance productions over this time. He also managed to tour with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corp. for their 75th anniversary in 2013, while continuing to design, instruct, and choreograph for a number of schools in the Midwest, most notably returning to instruct and choreograph for the Warren Central World Guard from 2013-2015. 

 

After Graduating with his BLA in Theatre from DePauw, André returned to Indianapolis where he began training for dance professionally with David Hochoy, and Justin David Sears-Watson. Shortly after beginning his training, he became and executive assistant at Phoenix Rising Dance Studios (2015-2018) and Dance Company (2015-2020), where he also danced as a company member. He went on to become the rehearsal director and a resident choreographer for the company starting in 2018, and in 2020 founded Relevations Dance Company.

 

Remaining active and passionate about the pageantry arts, André has continued to work in the pageantry arts since 2011 with several programs and was the artistic director and movement coordinator for Elevate Performing Arts, Independent World Guard and Winds. He currently, is the Guard Director for the Mt. Vernon Color Guard, 2024 State Champions ranked 7th nationally for 2 consecutive years in their international competitive circuit.

KYLIE WILLIAMS

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Kylie Williams’ passion is movement. She’s been a group fitness instructor for over 7 years, but her journey began through the world of dance. She grew up a competitive dancer, eventually obtaining a BA in modern dance from Point Park University. During her time at school, she fell in love with the practice of yoga. Upon returning home spent years learning various genres of yoga- receiving multiple 200 hour RYT certificates. She’s also very versed in Pilates principles and mindful, therapeutic movement. Kylie was also a principal dancer for Phoenix Rising Dance Company for four seasons. Today Kylie splits her time teaching dance and fitness as well as being a part of Relevations Dance Company. It’s her life mission to serve the community through the leadership of dance, yoga and performance.

LEXIE CARLSON

REHEARSAL DIRECTOR AND SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Lexie Carlson (she/her) has been dancing for most of her entire life and has a BFA in dance from Ball State University. While at BSU, Lexie performed in a restaged version of “Steps in the Street”, by Martha Graham, “Coppélia”, an excerpt from “Le Corsaire”, and many other original works. Lexie also had the amazing opportunity to be in a piece by Sidra Bell and have her choreography performed at the Gibney Center in New York City.

 

Post-grad, Lexie has performed with and choreographed for Relevations and Ballet Initiative in original performances and at different arts festivals. She is now the Rehearsal Director and a company artist for Relevations Dance Company, and is thrilled to be so involved with a company that means so much to her. Lexie has also recently choreographed at Fishers High School for the musical, "The Little Mermaid". She also teaches at Nostalgia Dance Center and Premiere Dance Center. Lexie loves teaching, dancing, choreographing, and being a part of the Indianapolis dance community. 

LETITIA BAILEY

HEAD OF OUTREACH AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Letitia is a wellness advocate from Indianapolis, In and proud owner of Turquoise Forest Wellness, a business focused on promoting holistic well-being through whole foods, mindfulness, and movement. She believes in the power and intelligence of nature's blueprint to nourish both the body and the mind. As a skilled personal assistant, Letitia is known for efficiency and attention to detail, offering tailored support that meets individual needs. She is dedicated to providing efficient and quality services to her clients. In addition to being a talented hairstylist, specializing in natural hair care, she celebrates diverse beauty and empowers clients to embrace their unique qualities. Letiita is also a certified Pilates and yoga instructor. With a deep passion for movement and dance, she is a natural motivator. She energizes others through dance and creative workshops. Letitia demonstrates a strong commitment to uplifting individuals on their paths to self-discovery and well-being. Letitia strives to inspire others to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle. She is committed to being in-service to others, contributing to the community, and creating nurturing environments for individuals' personal wellness journeys.

PAULLY CRUMPACKER

RESIDENT TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

​Paully Crumpacker (he/they) is a lighting designer and technician based in Indianapolis, Indiana. An alum of Indiana University with a Bachelor’s in Theatre, Paully has designed for a plethora of Midwest theatres including; The Wizard of Oz with Ohio Youth Ensemble Stage; Snow Fever with the Phoenix Theatre Cultural Center; Motion Pictures with Iibada Dance Company; Boo-La-La! 3 with Fonseca Theatre; The Moon and The Sea with Dance Magic; Rollercoaster with Constellation Stage and Screen; Willy Wonka & The Golden Ticket with Owensboro Dance Theatre; Iconiq and Annum 5 with Dance Relevations. Paully is grateful to be a part of the Relevations team and is looking forward to continuing to elevate the excellent dance art that is the company’s bottom line.
