Company Dancer
KATIE ROBINSON
Katie is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer based in Indianapolis. She is originally from Hartford City, IN, where she trained at Premiere Dance Center. She holds a BFA in Contemporary Dance from Indiana University, where she performed in faculty works and participated as dancer and choreographer in student productions. Additional training includes the Boston Conservatory, Zion Dance Project, and Whirlwind Dance. She is a company member with Relevations Dance Company, based in Indianapolis, and has participated in Genesis, Indy Dance Festival, Hummingbird and Currents. Her choreographic piece, The Gospel of Work, recently premiered at Indy Dance Festival in 2024. She is on faculty at Indy Dance Academy teaching ballet and contemporary dance.

Corey Mc Kenzie
Corey McKenzie is a passionate performer and choreographer based in Indianapolis, IN. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Visual and Performing Arts, with a minor in Theatre, from Grambling State University, where he trained extensively in Horton, Jazz, and Ballet under the guidance of former Alvin Ailey soloist Dianne Maroney-Grigsby. Following his graduation, Corey became a company member of Phoenix Rising Dance Company and contributed as both a performer and choreographer with (IN)Dance. Most recently, he performed with Kenyettá Dance Company, continuing to expand his artistry through movement and storytelling. He is excited to be back dancing with Relevations Dance Company, embracing new creative opportunities and refining his craft.

Jillian Hagerty
Jillian Hagerty grew up as a competitive dancer in Indianapolis. She attended Butler University, where she served as the university dance club’s President and Ballet Director. In her role as Ballet Director, she choreographed 5 full-length ballets. Jillian has been teaching dance for 4 years, all around Indianapolis, in a variety of styles. She is also a member of the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. This is her first season with Relevations Dance Company, and she is thrilled to be apart of it!

Glenn Panzarella
Glenn Panzarella is a dancer, teacher, and instructor based in Westfield/Indianapolis, Indiana. Glenn earned his BA in Dance from Western Kentucky University; of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He studied abroad in Italy, dancing among many stages, and upon his return back to the United States partook in the Gus Giordano summer intensive for dance and instructor techniques. He performed as a swing dancer, as well as lead male dancer, at Cedar Point Park in Sandusky, Ohio. Glenn also served as a competition director, competition assistant, director, and judge for IDC, international dance challenge; traveling all over the country.

Amelia Kramer
Amelia Kramer is an Indianapolis based filmmaker and photographer. She started her dance training with Gregory Hancock Dance Theater in Carmel, IN, and was honored to perform in several company shows such as Superhero and La Caza Azul. She continued dancing and performing at Purdue University, and taught ballet and modern at Studio b in Lafayette, IN for 8 years. She’s excited to continue dancing and exploring movement with Relevations.

Apprentice Dancer
Essence Thomas
Essence Thomas joined a Color Guard program in 2013 at Muncie Southside High School, which is when she began dancing. After graduating from Muncie Central High School in 2016, Essence continued dancing with different guard programs until Spring of 2024. In May of 2024, Essence joined Relevations and fell in love with the different style of training and enjoyed being in a studio space for the first time. Essence now calls Relevations her new home and plans to continue growing with the company for many years.​​​

Keegan Pollard
Keegan comes from a color guard background but has also been very passionate about dancing and all things art since a young age. He has performed with Elevate color guard's program, and is currently teaching at Mt. Vernon High School. Keegan is excited for continue growth with RDC.

Xavier Yankey
Originally from Angola, Indiana, Xavier's journey into performing arts, color guard, and marching band began in high school. His path led him to Ball State University, where he continued to perform with the Interplay Winter Guard, Legacy Performing Arts, and Rhythm’s Dance Troupe. After graduating with a B.S. in Professional Selling, Xavier transitioned into a mentorship, teaching, and coaching Color Guard role at various institutions throughout Central Indiana. His guidance and support have shaped the skills and talents of numerous scholastic and independent guard performers. He is deeply passionate about sharing his love for the performing arts and watching his students fall in love with an art form that has given him so much. Xavier has performed with the Indy Pride Guard for the past couple of years, which is a testament to his commitment to the community and the performing arts. As Xavier's full-time job, he is a Realtor with Keller Williams, focusing on first-time home buyers.

Phoenix Prince
Phoenix Prince started Dancing with Relevations Dance Company in June of 2024 for the “Annum 5” fifth anniversary show. His performance experience begins as a clarinet player, then later joined color guard after two seasons of high school marching band. Between the time of graduating from Avon High School, Phoenix has performed in Drum Corps International in 2022 with the Boston Crusaders, and in Winter Guard International with a list of groups, while currently between seasons with Revival Winter Guard. Phoenix's passion for creative expression through movement drew him to Relevations, where he plans to keep growing as a movement performer and display these achievements with his fellow dancers!​​​​

Taylor Kellam
Taylor Kellam is originally from Louisville Kentucky. Her journey in the arts started in high school when she joined the color guard. Since high school, Taylor continued with Legacy Performing Arts Independent color guard for 3 sessions: 2016, 2017, 2018. Since then, she has been the flag lead tech at Mt. Vernon High School for the last 8 years: 2018-2025. For now, Taylor is venturing to find new ways to enjoy the arts and move her body more.

Yakira Rupenthal
From Indianapolis, IN, Yakira Rupenthal began dancing in 2015 with Ben Davis High School Color Guard, where she fostered a love for movement and performance. She is thrilled to be reconnecting with movement after a four-year dance hiatus while she completed dual bachelor’s degrees in French and Psychology. She hopes to continue to discover and rediscover what art and movement means to her through experimenting with different mediums including dance, painting, poetry, and cooking.

Skyla Maxwell has been involved with marching arts since 2018. She is currently a college student at Arizona State University and a flag instructor at Ben Davis High School.
